How You Can Support Mid-South Workers

  For Individuals

1. Join with other people of faith who seek justice for workers in our community.
Become a member of Workers Interfaith Network. Membership
is just $30 per year, or $15 for students, seniors, and low income people. You can help
even more by giving a contribution above and beyond your membership gift.
Your donation is tax-deductible. You can make your secure donation on-line or send in
a check with our mail-in donation form.

2.Volunteer in our office. Assistance is needed with mailings, phone calls, and other tasks to
mobilize our members for actions. Our volunteers also help organize our rallies, actions, and
      prayer vigils.
Contact us to volunteer.

    3. Internships are available for college and graduate students. We will work with your academic
institution to meet requirements you made need to receive course credit.

    3. Take action on the living wage campaign.

    4. Support workers' right to organize on the job. Click here for current worker rights actions
        you can take.

    5. Volunteer in the Memphis Workers' Center. We
especially need volunteers with foreign language and legal skills. Contact us if you are interested in volunteering.

    6. Come to our annual Faith and Labor Picnic, held on Labor Day each year.

    For Congregations

1. Invite a speaker from Workers Interfaith Network to talk about WIN's work.

    2. Take part in the Labor in the Pulpits program for your congregation's worship service
        on Labor Day weekend.

    3. Become a Partnering Congregation. Partnering Congregations covenant that in their worship,
study, living, and giving, they will seek justice for workers and engage their members in the work
        of Workers Interfaith Network.

    4. Involve your congregation's Missions, Peace and Justice, or Social Ministry committee in action
opportunities such as delegations to meet with company managers, prayer vigils, or writing letters
to elected officials about living wage and other worker justice legislation

For more information about any volunteer opportunities, becoming a member, hosting a speaker, becoming
a Partnering Congregation, or other activities, contact us.
